Super Mom

I was super mom this weekend, does that surprise you?! Ryon left for the ranch to hunt and work leaving me with the boys. Saturday we woke up to cold rainy weather so we set up the train tracks on the coffee table and played away. After a few brother battles I decided I couldn't handle being home so we braved the weather and headed to septemberfest! I love this event. It is so fun to be out and do something different and fun in midland. The boys loved the petting zoo and being out there. We spotted the ice cream truck and two Spider-man Popsicles were devoured. Lots of smiles were given at the site of them. Mason was in his ripped jeans, ninja turtle shirt, boots and had three fake tattoos on his arm, and sutton had his jeans and rain boots on backwards, with popsicle dripping everywhere. They were quite a mess. We enjoyed some time in the museum and I had wished for some shopping time! That afternoon we went to a classmates birthday party at the Jumping Place. I have never really attended the classmates parties so I stepped out of my comfort zone a bit :) It was really nice to meet the parents and the kids in Mason's new school and class. Really great people and I could tell Mason loved his new friends. We then headed to The Sunday School going away party for the Starks. We had a ton of kids and had a great time all together. Sutton decided to not be potty trained though and just kept peeing in his underwear. After a change of clothes or ours he kept doing it so he ended up wearing Emma's underwear all night. They were white, pink, strips, princess….goodness kid. He provided a lot of entertainment for us though and he will for sure be reminded of his behavior when he's older :) Sunday we went to church and I got to sit with the two neighborhood kids that have been coming. It is such a blessing to be a part of church that accepts and is excited about new people from all walks of life. Daddy came home Sunday afternoon and boy were we happy!!! It was a great weekend but we always like when Daddy is around!
