I live in a wonderful place. Not everyone can see the beauty in Midland, because lets face it, from the outside, there's not a lot to see! But I love it here. I love the people. I love the faith. I love the community. And by community I mean the "village" of people, friends and family that we spend our days with and do life with each day. A few of these wonderful friends in my life continued to "hassle" me about going back to CBS. (Community Bible Study) and I'm so thankful that they did! I also love that I live in a community that the first thing people ask you when meeting is where do you go to church. What a blessing! Anyway, CBS is going great and I'm thankful for the time I have to be in the word and learn a book of the bible inside and out and meet a few new friends and see my regulars on a weekly basis….and I'm thankful for the amazing kids program they have. We've been three times now and each day when arriving home the boys are telling me bible versus, saying lines from songs they've learned and retelling me stories and telling me about new friends they have met. Their bible verse this month is For I am with you always, Matthew 28:20 and both boys have singing the verse to a little tune. Today they came home telling me all about Moses and the burning bush and how God was in the fire! Love it. Thank you Ryon for allowing me to be mom all day and take our boys to things like this! I'm so very thankful.
I definitely realize the beauty of Midland now that we have a baby. It's a great community and everyone is really friendly and helpful. When I asked around here about Mother's Day Out Programs people look at me like I'm nuts and have no clue what I'm talking about.
