Halloween and Opening of Deer Season at Ranch

We had a very busy week last week! Yet again. Last weekend we went to the Lake House and had a pretty relaxing weekend there with Ryon's parents. Last week we had Rick's Birthday party Tuesday night, Church Trunk or Treat on Wednesday night and then Halloween was Thursday. At school both boys had pumpkin parties. It was my first time to try to be two places at once :) I went to Mason's and by the time I went to Sutton's, they were already covered in cupcake icing and pretty much finished. We headed over to see Mimi and Grandan and showed them our costumes. Mason was Dusty from the movie Airplanes and Sutton was the tootsie roll. I had to reuse the tootsie roll costume because it is just too cute. Mason wore it when he was 11 months old. Halloween night we went to Green Tree subdivision with a bunch of friends to do a trailer ride and trick and treat. We ended up taking our ranger and trailer and then had another full trailer full of friends as well. It was a big fun group! Sutton and Mason were doing great and really getting into the tick or treating, always saying thank you and just being so sweet. Sutton was running in front of me thru some grass and the grass got soft and he fell on his face. into a tree stump. yep, blood everywhere. Luckily his teeth were okay but he was and still is all scraped up from nose, lips, chin. He looked awful. Needless to say his night was over and he helped daddy drive the ranger until it got dark and we all called it quits.

Friday we loaded up and headed to my parents ranch for the weekend. It was really nice to be down there and my boys played their little hearts out with Elizabeth. It was hard having Sutton already banged up though because at the ranch he falls all the time so I was trying to really keep him from falling again. Today his scabs are starting to fall off so he looks a lot better. The weather was great and we got a few good ranger rides in and lots of time to throw rocks in dad's cow trough! sorry dad :) No deer were killed but lots were seen.
With the time change and boys waking up so early today has been kind of a long day! Thank goodness naps happened!

Thursday night Rhett got attacked by two pitbull dogs, but is okay now. He was at a friends house and for whatever reason, the dogs attacked him and tore him up pretty good and has lots of stiches everywhere. Glad he's alive and okay though. Cousin Braylon was also put in the hospital Thursday for a high fever. So Halloween was rough on our family! Hope next year we have no hospital stays or busted faces :)
