Boys, Eating and Chocolate

A few funnies: Last Friday Melanie brought the boys over for me to watch and they did so great. Lindsey and Bethany ended up coming over too so we just had a play date party. Love when these boys get together, they just look like trouble. It's going to be fun to watch them grow up together.
Sutton is seriously always eating. His favorite thing right now is to eat all of his food, climb out of his chair, climb into Mason's chair and eat the rest of his food. The best way to get Mason to eat is to threaten to give it to Sutton :) The picture above, Sutton had eaten a breakfast taco, three pieces of banana bread off of my plate and then stole Mason's taco. He gets a kick out of it and loves it. Yesterday when I picked Mason up from school they were eating cupcakes...thanks a lot to whoever did that!...but Mason's mouth was covered in chocolate. Once in the car, he just decided to smear it all over his legs. And then he fell asleep. I couldn't just pick him up and put him in bed so I ended up driving around and returning some books at the library and getting coffee so he could sleep a bit. When I picked him up from school and were walking thru the hallway, he said, "Mommy, I didn't hit my friends today!!! And I didn't eat Sophia's food!!! I ate all my sandwich, tomatoes and strawberries and yummies!" He was so proud of himself. Maybe our little talks are starting to sink in :) Even if he's rough housing too much and eating his friends food, he is learning so much. He comes home each day telling me a new bible story, singing a new song and telling me what they made. Yesterday it was orange playdough. He was thrilled! Mason's always saying "mommy, you know I love you?" It's the sweetest thing. It is what keeps me going day after day, hour after hour :) He says it throughout the day a lot. Sutton is learning to talk to. He shakes his head for yes, but can say it too when he wants. He is pretty much copying anything that big brother does, which is getting interesting.
Last weekend Ryon and I went to Cork and Pig for our anniversary. It was great to be somewhere new. Saturday I had a baby shower to go to and then Saturday night we went out to one of his friends birthday parties. Live Music, food, drinks, it was a lot of fun. Sunday I went to church and left the boys digging in the dirt. When I got home, they had the biggest castle made. I love when Ryon gets to dig and spend this time with them because I get to do it all the time, and I really enjoy it so I like when Ryon's world slows down so he can enjoy it too. I put all my fall decorations up last weekend even though it's still 90 degrees here. Mason keeps walking around saying "thanks for putting up the fall stuff mommy." Ha. We leave for Vegas tomorrow for the weekend and I can't wait to have a few days off with Ryon and of course seeing Kristen marry Brett :)
