3 Year Old Preschool Hillander

Mason started at Hillander today. It's still just Tuesday/Thursday and 9-2, thank goodness. I'm so not ready for him to be gone from me for longer. He woke up on time this morning and was in a great mood. He took a shower and I went in and he had already gotten dressed all by himself, with the clothes we picked out last night. Luckily, we agreed on a non-ninja turtle shirt and shorts instead of his ripped jeans, mommy win :) He looked big and mature and happy about his new adventure.
Sutton and I walked him in, and he wanted to carry his backpack by himself; new from last year where mommy always had to carry it! We hung our back pack, got our clipboard and put our lunch up. He sat at his chair and started playing like everyone else. He was big and brave. As I walked out, he ran back up to me and said, "mommy kiss!" Thank you Mason for making me feel special and loved in that moment. When I picked him up today thru the carpool his teacher said he was so sweet and great all day. Let's hope this continues ;) He was thrilled to show me the things he did today. I'm proud of him for always being fine in new situations and people. He is great with new friends and adults and for that I am thankful. It makes transition so much easier.
Love you Mason!
