Ryon's #1!

Ryon received a huge honor this week in Las Vegas for his work in 2013. He was named #1 Salesman in the Building Construction Products Group (BCP) and was the only salesman to also be recognized in the CCE category as well. He was one of the two out of 1600 reps that sold over 100 units in a year. He worked incredibly hard this year developing new clients and taking care of one's he has had over the past five years. Bottom line, is that he has worked for Warren CAT for only 5.5 years and has accomplished so much in such a short time! I would never have imagined when we moved here that he would already be doing so well. He is passionate about what he's doing and it really shows in his customer loyalty. It also shows just how well the companies are thriving here in Midland and Odessa. He reached these top honors with only having two counties to sell in. Pretty impressive to me. We found out he was getting the award a few weeks ago and I didn't really think there was any way that I could tag along. But then Rick called me and said, "Teri will keep the boys so we can go to Vegas!" The plan was for it to be a complete surprise to Ryon but it didn't work out as planned. I used our Southwest points to book my flight and it sent Ryon an email letting him know points were being used. :( But Rick was able to surprise him at the airport as we were all on the same flight leaving Midland. It was wonderful getting to see Ryon recognized and being there for the event. There was a room full of top execs from all over the world in the room. It made me realize how big Caterpillar really is! He was given a CAT ring and then two plaques for his office. Nothing huge but the honor was great. (We'd be lying if we weren't crossing our fingers for a surprise trip, haha!) There were a lot of people from Warren that came to support him so that was nice to see as well. Overall it was a great little getaway and I am forever thankful to Teri for watching the boys so I could go. And to top it off Ryon won a pretty penny gambling and our house for Admiral Oaks will be delivered on Monday!
