"Hey guys, let's do our exercises. First we have to do jumping jacks and then push ups." And yes we all got up off the couch and did what he said.
"Cowboys go this way mommy." (dressed as woody of course walking thru the living room.)
"Hey guys, if you ever hear a dinosaur outside, you just have to come into my room and tell me." (While coming out of his room looking for excuses not to go to sleep.)
The boys found a baby doll today in the closet and were rocking, singing and saying "shh shh shh" to it. And then of course fighting over it :)
Friday mason slugged sutton pretty good for whatever reason. After being sent to his room I went in to talk to him. I explained that he needed to go hug sutton and tell him sorry since he made him sad and that sutton was his best friend. He then said, "sutton is not my best friend, Ty and Paxton and Maddox are. Not sutton." Well that's a lie if I've ever heard one mason!!!
Mason has really been using his manners lately and pointing out when we are nice to him and sutton. I feel like he is constantly saying, "thank you for doing (that) for me mommy." "thank you for helping me mommy." "thank you for helping sutton mommy." It has made me realize how much he listens to me appreciate him for his good behavior. Maybe it's working!!
