We do so much in a day together that sometimes it's hard for me to even remember what we did during the week! Last week was good with swimming, school and church on Wednesday night. Mason got to jump off the diving boards, sutton still doesn't like swimming with me but afterwards tells everyone he had fun. We were Jake all week and will be again this week I'm sure. Thursday night Ryon and I got to go to the Meals on Wheels Fundraiser with one of his customers. It was nice to get out and do something different. Friday morning we had a really great time with friends at the park. It was a good day of conversation and playing. Blessed to have wonderful mommy friends in my life and great friends for the boys!
We headed to Baird Friday afternoon. It was my first weekend to see the house completed and be able to sleep there. I was excited to see the final product and take everything we had purchased over the last month to the house. My guest room looks much better now! I love the house. I think it's a perfect size for our needs, it's comfortable, functional, and has great lighting and views since we have so many huge windows. The house is dark and quiet at night! Mason was not thrilled with sleeping with Sutton and kept yelling, "I don't want to sleep in the baby room!" Haha, it was very funny. He finally chilled out and they slept pretty well. Ryon cooked a great breakfast and its so nice to be able to shower and feel good for the night and day! Saturday we bought two pieces of furniture in Clyde and ate at Little Pit's BBQ. Mason learned how to cut his sausage with his knife and Sutton ate beans by the spoonful. Saturday afternoon we fished. Mason really impressed me at how well he did. He was determined to do it by himself and the right way and just kept trying and practicing. Sutton wanted to learn as well and caught on with daddy's help. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite places in the world. Sitting by the water watching the boys throw rocks and fish. It can't get much better. Sutton's outfit was awesome. Big t shirt, shorts, tall socks, tennis shoes. It was quite the site. And Mason was woody of course. And wouldn't wear his baseball hat because "cowboys don't wear those kinds of hats." We put up a swing in the big tree by the house and also got to meet with a man who will soon start on the road to our house. Bradley had a great time too of course. It was nice to be able to take him with us!
Sutton has some funny words that we don't want to forget:
"dochi" - dinosaur. He will scratch down and point and say "dochi, dochi"
"waty"- water
"come-ah" - come. He's very concerned about being left behind. He always makes sure he gets to "come - ah" and will name me, ryon and mason so we get to come as well.
Funny things from the week:
~Mason put his tricycle on top of the wagon which was attached to his jeep. Sutton then got onto the bike. Mason was about to take off when I spotted him! Thank goodness I walked out when I did. Mason explained to me that Sutton was going to hold on and be very careful. Yikes!
~Mason tried to convince me that Bradley could babysit him. We went thru Mason being able to get his own food out of the fridge but got a little stumped at Bradley not knowing how to make mac cheese. Hmmm.
~One of my favorite sites is Sutton walking around with his big shotgun in one hand and his gimmie in the other. He looks oh so tough.
