To recap the last few weeks: Mason is doing better in school :) I have realized how much more structured this new new program is compared to our old one so I think Mason will adjust after time. Sutton still hates me when I leave him. I can tell the boys miss each other when I pick them up. Last weekend Ryon and Justin went out to the ranch to burn some piles. So I got a babysitter and went on a girls night :) Saturday I took the boys to Septemberfest which was so fun. We had never been in town for it before so I was thrilled to finally be able to go. The boys loved the petting zoo and jumpers. We were so hot that when we were leaving I had two tickets left and a big red snow cone was in our future. I don't ever want to forget sitting in the grass swapping the snow cone back and forth between the three of us. Memories made and cherished.
This past weekend Ryon went to the Tech game Thursday and came home Friday. We did much needed yard work Friday and Saturday. Friday night I had a wine and wreath night with some friends and Saturday night we went out to the park for a birthday party then home and played and ate on the patio. It was so nice outside. I'm glad it's cooling down in the evenings. Sunday, Ryon made us breakfast and we decided to load up and go to the ranch to get the Ranger. I'm so glad we went. I hadn't been in awhile and I needed some dirt, sun and ranger time! We threw rocks in the tank, where Sutton proceeded to fall into the mud. I've mentioned how he is the dirtiest child ever...we found a lot of cool rocks on top of the mountain, and we drove the property looking for a good spot to make our entrance and maybe build a place. I want to remember Mason kissing Sutton in the ranger. He was so funny. I guess he was thrilled to be out there and overjoyed with love :) He just kept kissing him! He also said, Sutton I love you, you are my best friend ever. MELT MY HEART. I've taken a lot of pictures on my phone this last week so I'll post here so they won't be "lost"!
