Mother's Day Out started back up on Thursday. Finally. We were the last school and church to start. I should have considered this during sign ups :) Mason was excited to start back up. They are at a new "school" this year. They are at First Presbyterian. They are familiar with it since we go to church there. Sutton of course was hesitant on me leaving him there. He had a rough morning they said but was fine after lunch. Mason was a bit shy when dropping him off but I found some cars for him and then he did great. When asked about how Mason did, his teacher told me "he is very defiant." Ugh. Isn't every almost three year old boy a little bit defiant? You don't have to tell me this on the first day! It's all I can think about right now. Mason has major listening and obeying issues. This isn't new to me. I have spent every single day for the past three months with him. I know him pretty darn well! haha. I'm hoping he starts to do better once the schedule becomes a routine. His teacher also told me that at circle time he started "singing/screaming" and wouldn't stop and all the other kids joined in....ring leader. awesome.
He has been very good for me today though. thank you lord from above. Every day is different with him. He beats to his own drum. Hoping he figures out the "good" side of the drum for school soon though!
As for mommy's first day back with some normalcy it was great. I actually left the house with only my purse. What a treat. And my hair was done with make up on my face and I wore a dress. WHAT?!
I went to the office to help Sandy and Bill for a few hours then had lunch with a few girl friends. It was SO nice to have a few adult conversations with no kids in tow. I ran a few errands and 2:00 came around. It went by fast. I didn't clean my house or go to the gym :( But lunch and a little money from working was worth it! Tonight Ryon is gone to the ranch with Justin so I got a babysitter and I'm going to a girls night. I'm super excited. Good women in my life keep me sane. We had a fun park trip this morning with Lindsey, Melanie, Kari, and Bethany. I love the friendships that mommy-hood brings into my life. It's the only way to survive :)
