Everyday life

Boys will be boys. And my two littles are very much boys. They don't have a clean, quiet, or still bone in their body. They make me smile every single day. Even as they run thru the house with muddy feet and dirt covering their entire body. I'm starting to become numb to it. It's my new normal. I like it.
This past week Sutton has learned to climb the thin ladder to our tall slide. He loves it and is so proud of himself. Mason has learned how to climb up the wall of the 'spaceship'. Sutton is watching closely....Both boys are very interested in figuring out what they can stand on to climb the trees. Luckily we don't have too many low branches so I won't have to worry about this too soon. Mason has figured out how to stand on the tall slide and look over our fence into the ally. It won't be long until he gets brave enough to escape I'm sure. Mason talks like an adult. His vocabulary is just way too big and talking to him amazes me all day long. Sutton now likes to stand on the stool and try to get on the kitchen counter. Mason opens the fridge now and thinks he has free reign of anything inside. Sutton stands behind him waiting for brother to give him something! Mason climbs on the counter to get fruit out of our bowl. Both boys are starting to enjoy their small basketball goal. They eat all.the.time. Brothers' food is always better :) Sutton got put in time out today for throwing his snack. Maybe this will start to work...
Mason came home yesterday from school singing Mary had a little lamb and telling me the story of Zacchaeus. I love God already working in his heart. And the first thing he said when seeing rain last week was, Thank you God for the rain! :)
The weather has been a bit cooler so it's been nice to be outside comfortably. We are outside whether it's freezing, scorching or raining :) yes it did rain last week!! And yes my boys played in it. And then walked all thru the kitchen :)
I get to eat and play with these guys everyday. So thankful.
