Masons First Real Prayer

We pray with mason all of the time. Sometimes it's our dinner time prayer, repeat after me, or he tells me what he wants to pray for and then I put it in prayer form. Last night we sat down for dinner and he reminded us to pray and held out his arms for us to hold hands. As Ryon was about to start Mason cut him off and immediately started on his own. He said "Dear God, thank you for the cat walking by our truck." I'm sure the cat was in reference to our neighbors that hangs around. Ryon and I both got teary eyed. To hear his sweet words on his own was so sweet.
