A year ago today I was given the biggest relief of my life! Sutton was a boy!!! I couldn't have been happier to have another little guy in my life. I secretly wished for a boy during my pregnancy. The year has flown by of course. Since the minute Sutton came home he has always been "sweet." Everything about him has a sweet demeanor to him. Probably his big beautiful blue/green/gray eyes. They melt my heart in a minute. His smile is infectious and he makes friends everywhere we go. I can't run errands very fast when he's in my cart because "oh he's so cute...." happens on every aisle :) At one Sutton has his two bottom teeth, one top tooth, and then two more top teeth are starting to make an appearance. He is not walking, but is cruising and pushing toys around by walking behind them. He just hasn't gotten his balance quite yet. He is getting big! His belly is filling out and I think he's definitely bigger than Mason was. He's starting to feel 'thick' to me. His hair is getting thicker in the back and I think I even saw a little curl the other day :) He's still sleepy Sutton, although not quite as bad as before. He will stay up for a decent amount of time during the day and at night with us now. He will eat anything we give to him but his favorites are graham crackers and fruit of course. Watching him eat is hilarious because he uses both hands as fast as he can. He's getting tougher when Mason pushes him around. But he still needs to be told we love him after he's been pushed over. I think it's more of a "ha see mommy loves me" to Mason! Sutton and Mason love each other to the moon and back. The two of them are playing together, chasing each other, they laugh and get each other all excited. Sutton is starting to read a lot of books and explore the house much more. He's always on the go and getting super fast. The doggy door is a breeze now, and before I even know it, he's outside. His favorite spot in the house is in the living room looking out to the backyard from the window. I love to see Sutton inside and Mason outside making faces at each other. The last year has been challenging, exciting, fun, and unpredictable. Sutton I can't express to you how much you mean to me. God made my life complete with you. I love you honey!
