What a fun weekend we have had! Friday afternoon we took off to go look at two properties outside of Baird. Neither of them were what we are wanting but we did end up stopping in Clyde to get the patio chairs we have had our eye on. We also stopped at the Clyde Pizza House for dinner. There were a few old men playing in their "band" and we were able to eat pizza while listening to them sing old Johnny Cash songs. Sutton danced the entire time, wanted to eat the entire pizza and Mason's loudness wasn't a problem with the music drowning him out :) It was small town America that I needed. It was good for the soul. Saturday we all woke up about 9:30, yes that was awesome....and headed to Lowe's to get flowers. It was quite the adventure with the boys but we survived. Saturday we spent the day cleaning up the backyard (Ryon) and moving flowers and toys around. That night we had the Bennett's over and had the best time. It was so fun to have the boys all play together and the adults may have finished two large bottles of wine off :) Just the night we all needed! This morning we opted for no church and spent the morning eating breakfast on the patio and Ryon and Mason went for a Ranger ride while Sutton slept, and I literally sat outside and actually watched a movie that I wanted to watch. Wow, it was wonderful! Ryon went to Toys R Us and came back with a new swing set and a new pool for the boys. So the entire day was spent outside "helping daddy" and Mason swimming naked. (Of course Sutton was sleeping most of the day!) And I sat and got some sun! Since Mason didn't nap today he ended up falling asleep at 7:30 on the couch. We even had about a 5 minute rain shower. It was a great end to a wonderful weekend.
