Sutton is 11 Months old! I can't believe his next birthday is his big One Year! I just want to cuddle him for way longer. He's still the sweetest thing ever.
Last week I went to Austin to visit baby Vaughn. I was so glad to get to go. It was hard to leave even if it was only a day and a half. I think we all realized just how much work it is to take care of two kids! We had a babysitter come Wednesday afternoon and Rick took the boys to school and then Ryon came home early after they were done with school. It was a quick fast trip but well worth it. I was just really appreciative that Ryon allowed the time for me to go. Vaughn is just a little thing. I just forget how small babies are! He's very sweet of course. Lora is breastfeeding so I wasn't much help but I was company and I got to driver her to her dr. appt. and do some laundry for her at least. It was great to be with them for a little while.
Friday I flew from Austin to Dallas. Ryon did the road trip all by himself. Impressive. He said McDonald's was quite the interesting stop. They all shared a 20 nugget meal! But then came bathroom time....If you can imagine Ryon holding Sutton on his hip, holding Mason's hand so he doesn't run off or touch anything, and Ryon trying to pee all at the same time. Now that's funny. Sutton is at a weird age with not being able to stand and walk yet, so it makes these bathroom situations even more hard. They made it to the airport to get me and I was happy to have all my boys back! We stayed with Kristi and Daniel for the weekend. We all met at Hard 8 BBQ Friday night and actually somewhat survived a dinner out. Frankie and Mason danced and ran around the place, luckily not knocking over any band equipment, and Sutton passed out and slept thru the party...imagine that :) Saturday everyone came over to the Walsh's and we just had a great day hanging out. They have a great house for the kids to play and the weather was perfect. It was fun to spend some time together finally. I hadn't been to Dallas since last July when Sutton was 6 weeks old! We've added the Burch girls and two pregnancies to our group! Our trip ended with Ryon changing a tire outside of Sweetwater on the side of the road. Luckily we were able to get way over on the access road out of harms way. Also thankful for the DVD player for Mason. The extra stop didn't even seem to bother him.
Last night Brown Grandmother celebrated her 75th Birthday. She is headed to South Padre Island to spend time with Judy on the beach. She is a a happy lady!
