We have had quite the week around here! Monday Ryon got his wisdom teeth out. Funny story: When Ryon was finished with surgery I went back to see him and almost passed out. I guess my sugar was low or something. So then I had to call my Broker to come get us BOTH. After I chugged a Coke, I felt fine but they still wouldn't let me drive. So we were both patients for a minute. Pretty embarrassing. I've had a few low blood sugar moments lately and have lost a lot of weight very fast without doing anything different so this week I'm going to the Doctor to have some blood work done to make sure I'm healthy. Ryon felt pretty good all week. He worked on and off from his office and home. He has started to have a lot of pain in his jaw the last few days though so he's ready for his check up tomorrow morning.
Tuesday when I picked up Mason from school his teachers told me to bring him to school in underwear. I thought they were pretty crazy! We've been on and off potty training for awhile but I really didn't think he was that ready! So Wednesday morning we stayed at home and I let him wear underwear all morning. He had no accidents all day. Even during nap time. I was shocked. So Thursday morning I sent him to school in his underwear. He did pee that morning but was good for them the rest of the day. He pooped while we were at the park though :( It's SO fun cleaning up poop! Ugh. That night he rode in the car with TK and Rick to the lake. I had no idea what he would do but he had no accidents during the trip! He did poop once home though and they had a big mess to clean up :(
Friday, Ryon, Sutton and I headed to the lake. It was relaxing afternoon. I actually got to sit and read a book bc both boys slept at the same time! It was glorious. Saturday was Easter at Granny and Granddaddy's in Baird. Of course the Easter Egg Hunt was right in the middle of Mason's nap time and since he fell asleep in the car on the way over he was not a happy camper once woken up. He tried to do the hunt but was just way too tired and ended up sleeping on the couch for the rest of the day. He woke about the time we needed to leave. So he missed the fun. Which made me sad because he would have loved it. I think we just had too much going on. Last night driving home Mason told us when he needed to pee and we pulled to the side of the road and he did great!
We went to church this morning at First Presbyterian and the music sounded like Heaven. (at least to me!) It was beautiful. We've had a lazy afternoon here at the house. All three of my boys have been sleeping and I planned our healthy dinners for the week. Ryon has been doing the Advocare 24 Day Challenge and has lost 8 pounds so far! I'm so proud of him.
