What I've learned

Today I learned that when your  child needs to use the restroom in a public place your heart stops a minute. Especially when Sutton is in the cart too and you have to fit a sam's cart into the restroom, get pants and diaper off of a little boy, while not touching the floor because he's not wearing shoes and pray to god he just pees fast! yep, I had that "mommy go potty" happen to me in sam's today. I wanted so bad to tell him to use his diaper, but that will just really screw us up!
It wasn't fun, but I figured it out.

Yesterday I learned how much I love going to the park with our friends. Watching Lindsey Roby do laps around the park "racing" Ty was really funny. I also finally met Mason's BFF Kyle's mom and they joined as well. It was a fun afternoon. We are skinny because we chase, and because our kids eat our food :) Whatever works! haha.

I also am thankful for my friendship with Melanie, she is not a "super mom" and we have many laughs about our "attempts" out in public with our kids. Her boys are 18 months apart too, they stair step in between ours. We understand each other pretty well. Good mommy friendships is the only way to survive this whole motherhood gig! Luckily I've been blessed with women that challenge me to do more, be more, make more, enjoy more, play more, pray more and simply love more.

I've also learned that Mason knows entirely too much about machinery and vehicles. His brain amazes me about what he knows and remembers. I need to go study my CAT Brochure to keep up!
