My Ryon is 32! Yesterday was his big birthday. We had a fun celebration last Thursday night with friends. We never get to see our friends here in Midland without kids anymore so we all treated ourselves to wine, great food and company at The Garlic Press. I kept the group small so we could actually visit with one another and I think we all enjoyed a night out together. Sure hope there are more nights like that! We had the Barela's, Roby's, Brazelton's, and Crumps :) Of course we sat men on one end and women on the other, how dare we sit with our husbands! Friday morning Ryon headed to Abilene to play golf with his boss Scott at Abilene Country Club. He won and has bragging rights for awhile. He then headed to Dallas to spend the weekend with his boys. He got to meet the Burch girls and go downtown with Daniel. He said he felt super old and out of place and that everyone looked 15 years old :) He played golf on Saturday with Daniel, Don, and Frank. They ended at Bone Daddy's and bowling, and then a random bar concert...I was pretty jealous! He had a great time and I'm thankful they all took the time to help him celebrate. Me and the boys kept busy as well. We had a going away party for the Tommerup's on Friday night and then Ty Roby turned 3! We thoroughly enjoyed all of our parties!
Ryon, one year older....you are still the kindest man I know. By far the goofiest, your goal driven attitude amazes me every single day. I love that you always want to better yourself. Words can't describe how great of a dad you are. I don't ever have one worry in my mind when I leave you with the kids alone. It's always hard to believe that your first birthday I spent with you I was already engaged to you!!!! Obviously you are a sweet talker :) I love you and all the grey's I've put on that pretty little head of yours!
