We took our first trip to the Zoo this weekend. We went to the Abilene Zoo for a day trip. I had been wanting to take Mason for awhile so I was glad we finally found some time. It's a small zoo, but it has everything and is great! It was kind of windy, but overall it was a beautiful day spent outdoors as a family; I was in heaven! Mason talked the entire ride to Abilene about seeing the Zebra's. We fed the giraffe's and saw the monkeys. We ate outside and FINALLY got to ride the train. That was Mason's favorite part I think. He waved at everyone as we passed by and absolutely loved being in the train. We did not want to get off. After the zoo we walked over to the playground nearby. It was such a great park. We stayed for a long time playing. Mason enjoyed having Ryon there to play with as he's used to me being at the park with him, and I'm definitely not as much fun as daddy :) Sutton had a great day well. He was so good. He just rode around in the stroller looking around and enjoyed being outside. I have to admit that I teared up when we were in the train....I was just emotionally happy! It is such a blessing to spend the day with my boys. Yesterday is not a day I will ever forget.
