All About Sutton
Our Sweet Sutton is BIG now! You are growing fast, like so fast that your new tennis shoes didn't even get scuff marks before you grew out of them.....not cool buddy! You are just big and independent and smart and mr cool. Let's be honest though, you still love your gimmie and suck your thumb while sleeping and you are the first to cry if you are tired and don't get your way. The last few months have been fun for you. You were an outstanding soccer player. Your sweaty little face was the cutest thing I've ever seen and you loved being with such fun little boys. In school you are excelling. You do everything Mason does as far as reading so you've caught on quickly and are so ready for Mrs. Jones to start reading in your class. You are Mr. Popular. Henry, Gavin, and Karter are your "bros" and they just rock your world. You have to wear "cool playground clothes" to school and won't even consider something mama wants you to wear most days. You are in a stage right now of wearing clothes underneath what you are supposed to wear. Shorts under jeans? How can that be comfortable? You think it's funny so whatever, I love you. You had your first Chapel Program in December and oh how you made us so proud. You had a long line to memorize about the star of Jesus and you also got to say the prayer. You are 4 years old and you spoke so well in front of an elementary school praying. Mama teared up and didn't close my eyes during the prayer because I wanted to soak that moment in and watch you. I love your confidence and your faith. You are constantly challenging us and asking us big God questions. That's just who you are. You told us recently that you saw angels. You said angels fly over your playground at school. Oh what a sight! I'm so glad you shared this with us.
You are a super bike rider, and learning the skateboard, and can out due the big kids in legos anyday. You make friends easily and Mrs. Jones called you the "all american boy" during your chapel program and I think that describes you pretty well. You still play make believe and your imagination is wonderful. You want to be a police man when you grow up as of now, switching for a jet fighter pilot often. You'll do anything with Mason that he wants to do and includes Callahan in as well. You are great middle brother. You are the perfect playmate. You are such a little chef. I haven't made a meal by myself in a long time, always having your help. You love to wear your apron and help with whatever I let you do. I'm glad you enjoy cooking because you eat all day. When asking for a snack you'll eat and entire container of tomatoes if I don't watch you....you are sneaky!! You are starting to enjoy coloring and drawing more. Your handwriting is getting better daily. I love you buddy. You make our house sweet, fun, faithful and bring so much warmth to our world.
