All About Ryon and Sara
When we aren't raising three boys with a baby on the way, we have a life too! For my Birthday in November Ryon surprised me with tickets to the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas in December. We were going with Ashley and Derrick and I was so excited about a trip away with Ryon! However, I was pregnant and really didn't feel good so I was hoping for the best. December came and I literally started feeling better the day before we left. I was so thankful. The Rodeo was wonderful. We loved the arena and all the special shows beforehand. Our seats were perfect, in the middle, up close...couldn't have been any better. The cowboys were good! It was a bucket list item for sure and I was so thankful for Ryon taking us. I love a good rodeo! Friday we went to the Cowboy Christmas and shopped and walked around and that was a neat place for sure, huge and made us want a country home for sure! That night the boys told us they had another surprise up their sleeves so after a great dinner at the Steak House in New York New York we walked that way. As we were walking to this huge arena, we saw George Strait's face up on the screen and it said December 2, which was that day! We were soooooo surprised. Ryon led us down to the 4th row on the floor...pretty amazing. George can sing perfectly still. Ryon had never seen him in concert and it had been since I was little so it was a treat for both of us. He sang most of our favorite songs and was just so close....it was another Bucket List item for us.
December brought Christmas, me feeling better, and my growing belly. I started growing out of all of my clothes right before the holidays and luckily Ryon shopped for me at Motherhood Maternity buying me clothes that fit. I was so thankful. He always knows the right things for me.
Ryon has gotten busier at work but has also found time for his hobby of working in the garage. He bought a table saw and some other tools and about to start building a new kitchen table for us. He also purchased a new tractor for our ranch. We have really needed one and it'll be the perfect size for us to shred and get some projects done. He also shot a doe while we were out there with the Bennett's so we got some more meat to pack our freezer! In October and November he built a deer blind for the ranch. He is getting great at using his welder and the blind is perfect. So proud of him!
For me, I've just been trying to stay organized and on top of things here at the house. I'm trying to go thru things that we need to get rid of. Nesting kinda before baby.... I'm enjoying cooking and trying new recipes these days and I've started going to gym again just to walk. I can really feel my belly stretching the last week.
We've been going to a Life Group at GCR lately and right now are learning more about Church of Christ and GCR. It's been a nice thing to do together and have learned a lot. The last month of so we've also struggled with the choice to stay in Midland or move to Greenwood. After A LOT of conversation and thought we've decided to stay here and at Midland Christian. We don't know if it'll be forever but for now we are willing to stay here at this house and work hard to be able to keep the boys at MCS. Once this was decided we both felt a weight lifted off of our shoulders which tell us a whole lot about how the decision is right for our family. We've enjoyed a few fun date nights with either friends, or just us the last few months. I always enjoy my time with him and I'm thankful for date nights out or just time here at the house winding down. Life sure is loud, crazy and busy but we are enjoying it and each other.
