Santa, Class Programs and Parties

Sweet Santa visits our church every year! This was actually our third year to visit him at church, I can't believe we've been at St. Luke's that long! I know it's a bit weird to have Santa at church, with the whole Jesus thing and all...haha, but I'm loving this tradition of St. Lukes as it has quickly become my favorite Sunday. There is no line to wait in, and there is a lot of great fellowship with everyone over coffee and donuts. The boys did awesome this year! Callahan was clueless and the big boys were very grown up about telling him what they wanted. Sutton wants a Remote Control Stelth...but he's being convinced that a Jeep will do ;), and Mason wants a big excavator Lego set and a guitar. He's also filling their stockings with lots of cool small trucks and airplanes. This was our first sunday back to church as a family and I really enjoyed it. The kids choirs sang and it was pretty funny.

That next week Sutton was a Lamb in his Christmas Play. He told us beforehand that he wasn't going to do anything and he was just going to walk straight to us and sit with us. So that's exactly what he did! He looked pretty darn cute for the two minutes we saw him dressed up but he was just not having it. Which is sad because he still walks the house and sings all the songs. That week we also had his class party and Mason's on Friday. It was the first party of Mason's at MCS so it was different having a pretty structured party! They had lunch and then played bingo and brought home a bag full of stocking stuffers. We were very ready for a break from school.
