Sutton performed with the children at CBS at the beginning of December and did SO GREAT! He knew every hand motion, sang loud, a huge smile on his face the entire time! I was so super proud of him. It's the cutest thing ever to see little ones sing and I was so thrilled he did such a great job.
We took the boys to Polar Express in Lubbock a few Thursday's ago. I am so glad we made the time and the trip. The boys were a great age for it and really had fun. Mason bought a conductor hat and Sutton a little vintage train, we drank hot chocolate and saw the North Pole. It was a fun evening together for sure. Callahan even enjoyed it by staring at the elf girls and watching everyone intently. It was worth doing I think and I'm glad we waited until now because it was fairly easy trip with the boys.
That weekend the Bennett's finally got to come out to the ranch. I have prayed so long and hard about meeting a family that we all truly enjoy and I just love being with them. The boys rode a million miles on the jeeps, Maddox and Sutton hunted pigs all weekend long..constantly telling each other to cover their ears, the ran, they dug, they ate, everyone just really enjoyed themselves. We threw lots of rocks, found an arrowhead, and celebrated Maddox's 4th Birthday. Ryon was able to burn a ton of brush so that was our entertainment for the afternoon. We ate big breakfasts, drank too much wine...or I did at least ;), and enjoyed our time together.
