Granny Christmas and Mimi and Grandan Christmas

After school got out Friday we headed to the ranch. Meredith, Justin, Rhett and Jessica all joined us that night and we cooked burgers and hung out by the fire. It was great to be with them and I'm glad it worked out that they could come. We went to Granny's Christmas on Saturday and spent the day. We really enjoyed it. We hadn't been able to go in a few years so it was so wonderful getting to all cram in the house, open presents and watch all the kids play. I found myself several times just staring out the front door watching kids fly kites, play football, pull eachother around, and just simply laughing and being together. It was a great reminder that we love to be there. Granny and Granddaddy seemed to enjoy themselves and were in great health. So thankful for them. We ended up staying at the ranch until Monday because we just didn't want to leave on Sunday. Ryon made a bridge on the property and we ate dinner in Cross Plains after a very lazy day. It was wonderful!

Monday night we headed to Sandy and Bill's for our Christmas with them. We enjoy our night with them every year. We ate Luigi's pizza around their table just like always and then opened presents. They got the boys this really cool crane, air hockey set and building tiles. They are so good to our boys. I got a bracelet and Ryon was given his annual Outback card. Our Christmas is predictable with them, but it seems like that's what we prefer and there's such fun in it as well. I treasure the fact that my boys have yet another set of grandparents to love.
