What a wonderful year of big changes it was this past school year. When the year started I was sad to see the boys separated within two different schools and I was nervous for Mason to start at Hillander. Boy did they both excel this year!!! I couldn't be more proud of them. Mason had Mrs. Thompson and I can't say enough about her. She loved him like her own, saw his true potential and gave him the love to learn and behave and just really excel this year. There was only 1 month out of the year he struggled with behavior. (the month of baseball season! haha.) He wanted to do well, he wanted to go to see friends and he learned a ton. I really did love Hillander and am sad to see our journey there end so soon since we are switching Mason to Midland Christian. It was fun to watch him learn and grow this year.
As for Sutton, he had a wonderful year too at First Presbyterian. He made his own friends, became a leader in his class and really grew up a lot in the classroom this year. He came home singing his color songs every day and learned a lot of bible versus. He'll stay one more year there before moving to Midland Christian. Change is always harder on me than the boys and I'm really proud of how they handled their new surroundings and loved school this year.
