I realized I never wrote about Mason breaking his first window! I always knew it would eventually happen…I mean come on, he's a boy and we play a lot of sports around here. In the beginning of October the boys were playing golf in the backyard and Mason hit a ball thru our bedroom window. I had gone inside to change clothes and the boys got their real golf balls out instead of the plastic ones and began to play. The crash was so loud, I couldn't run thru the house fast enough. When I got outside Mason just kept saying, "I'm so sorry mommy, I'm so sorry mommy." I looked down and there was a baseball sitting on the ground so I was confused. When I asked Mason what happened, he said, I hit the golf ball. When I asked from where, he pointed and said, "Way out there….." His club was so far out in our yard that all I could say was, "Well, that was a really great hit Mason…but you still shouldn't have been hitting the real balls." He had hit it from the back side of our yard, indeed a great hit! The ball only went thru one of the panes of glass. I was able to have a guy come out the next day to fix it and Mason was sure to tell Mr. Larry thank you for fixing the window :)
