We have been needing to get Mason a new big bike for a very long time now, but it just hasn't happened until TODAY. Daddy and Mason headed to Walmart and found the perfect Ninja Turtle bike for him. He is so proud of it and already rides it like a pro. It has a pouch on the front for "my hat and my milk." And he showed Sutton all about it and the pedals too. I had tears flowing as I watched him ride up and down the sidewalk today. He's big now. I love it but at the same time I feel like he's slipping out of my fingers. He's so independent, so strong, so smart. And now on this big bike, so fast!
As for the rest of our weekend, it's been a great one. We opted to stay in town this Memorial Day Weekend and I'm really glad we did. We don't slow down much here at our own house. We had a chance of rain all weekend and God delivered greatly this morning. The rain completely missed our house all day yesterday so this morning when we heard the storm, we were thrilled. It meant Mason was in our bed and I didn't go back to sleep but none the less, our ground was wet! We skipped church to all sit on the back patio and watch the rain pour down. It was so nice and relaxing. The boys even put daddy to work to build with them in the living room. I love getting to see Ryon play just as I do during the week. And when he's around Mason constantly says, "no daddy can do it." So I get off the hook a lot :) After naps the sun came out and we headed to the park to take the new bike and get out some energy. Once home Ryon trimmed some trees with all of his helpers. Tomorrow golf is being played and hopefully some pool time if weather permits. Can't wait.
