Happy 2nd Birthday Sutton!

Happy 2nd Birthday Sutton! You have become such a big boy in the last few months. You are still as beautiful as ever. You are happy, you are sweet, you are fiercely stubborn and independent. And you simply love Mason and Gimme. You make my heart melt and scream at the same time. You are speaking in 5 word phrases/sentences and can communicate to us so easily now. You know what you want and you don't stop until you get it. You still suck your thumb but only when Gimme is around. You do everything Mason does and will get him anything he asks for. You eat everything the same, you play the same, you are best friends. You love dinosaurs, all sports and lately croc-o-diles. And that's how you say it! You have a heck of a golf swing and will throw anything in your hand. I'm excited to see where your passions lead in the sports world. You can be super soft hearted but when you are mad, you are mad. If you don't want to do something, you aren't going to do it. There's no convincing you. You can count to ten and get super excited about it. You still love your books and songs. You are starting to call all of the machines you see a backhoe. I'm sure Mason will teach you the correct names soon enough! Mason is working on potty training you. You still go right to sleep and will pretty much tell us at night when you want to go to bed. You are big boned and stout. You can push Mason back with a vengeance and don't let him mess with you. You have completed our world in so many ways. God knew exactly what he was doing when he made you my tan, green eyed, sweet boy. You have our hearts in your hand bud. We couldn't love being with you more. 

For your birthday, we went to the ranch Friday night and had a little family celebration for you. It was sweet just being us. You loved the attention and Mason loved getting to celebrate with you. Saturday we took you to the Abilene Zoo. You LOVED it. You loved all the animals as we knew you would. You just strolled thru that place like you owned it. I loved seeing the wonder in your eyes and it was the perfect day for you. Both sets of your grandparents came to join us so they have sweet memories with you too. Saturday afternoon we threw rocks, we filled your pockets, we swam in the dirty pool water and cooked out. I loved being with you. As you grow please remember these sweet moments spent with us and your brother. I have loved watching you grow. I can't believe my baby is already 2! I now have a 2 and 3 year old boy….. mommy needs a nap :) Happy Birthday sweet Sutton.
