Chatting with MJV and SRV

I love that I get to talk to two toddlers all day. Yeah sometimes I wish for an adult conversation, but most of the time, I really enjoy the time spent talking to the boys. Driving thru town is my favorite thing to do with mason because there is just something about him being in the car seat that sparks up all kinds of memories, stories, "mommy remember when" moments. Tonight he told me all about how he went to Dos Compadres with T and Rick and they had to run inside real fast because it was getting dark. He did this in October I think?! His memory is amazing. He remembers details, people, who, what when. It's great. One of the most common things I hear out of his mouth right now is "But mommy I'm still hungry." Of course you are MJV! I have the hungriest boys on the planet (when they want to eat.) When they are hungry and in the mood to eat, they shove it in spoonful after spoonful. And then are still hungry during tv time before bed. Mason has a good argument for anything he really wants and is pretty convincing sometimes. He'll explain for forever why he wants what he wants, etc.
Sutton is getting to the point of communicating so well also. I love it. He talks to me, repeats anything I say, answers, asks me questions. Obviously this is all in two word phrases right now but I still love knowing he is growing developmentally and just getting smarter by the day. His favorite book right now is Chicka Chicka ABC. Otherwise known as Boom Boom. But when asked what happens in this book he answers "Tree Falls. Boom Boom." I love it :)
Today we went to Chuck e Cheese. Just a fun day with friends. All three of us had fun riding the "vibrating roller coaster" And after pizza, lemonade and lots of playing we left with a few stickers and sweet tarts. We never make it more that 50 tickets :) Mason proceeded to pee in the parking lot while I was putting Sutton in and luckily he missed my bag and keys by about an inch. The life of a boy. Gotta love it. He finished off the pizza in the car because obviously he didn't eat while we were there because he was too busy playing. He has his priorities. Another good day with the boys.
