Baby Walsh Dallas Weekend
This past weekend we spent time in Dallas with friends. We picked the boys up Thursday after school and headed to our ranch. We stopped in Abilene to look at Palm Harbor homes. Even though the boys are absolutely horrible to look with, we think we found one we like at the price we want! We are in talks with them on the specifics right now. We are excited and ready! At the ranch, Ryon burned a big pile right outside the camper so we got to sit and watch that, once inside we watched planes and were down for the night. The boys are getting better about sleeping together in the camper. I love the memories made here. Friday a little before lunch we left and headed for the afternoon with the Burch's at their house. This was the best part of our trip. We love our time with them and really hadn't gotten to see them much in a long time. We played outside, rolling down the grassy hill and the Burch girls ran up and down the sidewalk. It was simple, sweet, and perfect! Quinn impressed us with her sleeping beauty behavior. Aka, looking very scary while sleeping!!! Friday night we went out to eat with everyone else. It was pretty much what you expect with three toddler boys at a restaurant. Food and company was fabulous, but needless to say, we were all ready to leave! Saturday we had kristi's shower and the daddy's took the kids to bass pro shop and to hooters for lunch. We spent the afternoon playing outside and then more people came over that night. This night was pretty much just plain annoying because the kids were stuck inside in a non-kid house. What was I thinking? I should have brought a loot of toys but I just didn't and highly regret it. I think Daniel quickly realized that we are a very kid oriented group now and eating out and staying inside especially after 7:00 is not fun for anyone involved. I think our next trip we will go to the park, zoo, pool, stuff like that :) We stayed at Omni Los Colinas and I love this place! Especially for the price. It's gorgeous and the room views are amazing. We overlooked downtown Dallas and Manadalay Bay. On the way home Sunday we stopped again at our place and just took it in again. We love it. I'm excited about what it's becoming and what it can be year after year.
