4 Months and 22 Months

I think our most recent birthday's got forgotten about??? :) Not forgotten, just not written about like usual! Nothing is very different, except that Sutton is eating me out of the house. I remember these days with Mason. Just trying to figure out how much will get that little belly full and how much time I have in between to get my chores done before he's hungry again. I can't believe I'm making baby food again! Seems like yesterday. Sweet Sweet Sutton. There are no better words to describe him. His smile makes my heart melt and his cuddles make anyone that is holding him just lazy. Mason is just growing and talking up a storm.  He says everything and notices everything. Lately he's really yelling Mommy and Daddy at us. It's actually pretty funny. He really yells Mommy in the morning when he wakes up and can't get out of his room but hears me with Sutton. He bangs on the door yelling MOMMY!!!! Ha. love him. I feel like life is just going by much too quickly, so i'm trying to keep our days simple right now. It's been colder the last few days so that's been nice. However Mason just runs out the doggy door and doesn't come back in in the freezing weather. Ryon's famous quote yesterday, "It's too cold, I'm not staying out there! Mason won't come in though." And so mason gets left :) By our days being simple I mean lots of alphabet puzzle time, playing with clay, tracing our bodies and writing letters on the concrete with chalk, running a few errands, taking long walks at night, sitting on the street curb because Mason says, "mommy sit" while patting the ground next to him and well that's what life is all about. Sitting on the curb with your little boy watching the planes fly by, looking for the neighborhood cat, and finding dirt to play in. I love my simple days. I don't love all the diapers right now though. UGH! Mason peed in the potty the other night and is getting pretty close to me needing to potty train him I think. I kinda want to wait until after the holidays, because traveling without a diaper on him seems like a reallyyyyy long trip :) I'm not sure I'll be able to wait much longer though as he's really starting to be interested in it.

Our Anniversary! I didn't get to write about it either. Ryon and I celebrated 4 years on September 27. We took a weekend and went to San Antonio and stayed at the JW Marriott. It was an amazing resort. It has a TPC golf course so Ryon played Friday morning and I rode along with him. We swam, we went down the water slides and in the lazy river, we ate, we drank, we dined ourselves...Ryon took me on a little shopping spree to La Cantera. We had a great time. It was so nice to not be on a schedule and just do whatever we wanted when we wanted to do it. It was a great trip, and really an amazing resort, I highly recommend it. Can't wait to go back with the boys so they can do all the fun slides.
