When I don't have a toddler....

Somedays I forget what life would be like without a toddler....In a few short years, I won't have one so this is what that will mean....
When i don't have a toddler...
I will shower when I want.
I will put on makeup because I will have time.
I will replace my alarm clock bc if mine survives Mason I will be surprised.
I will repair my baseboards and paint my door trim, there is no point when cars are constantly being banged into them.
I will leave the bathroom door open not in fear of something being thrown in the toilet.
Bradley will get to go out whenever he wants because the doggie door will remain open.
I will not find furniture in different rooms from everything being "pushed"
The clothes in my drawers will remain there all.day.long.
I will have my kitchen floors professionally cleaned to rid it from toddler food.
I will empty the dishwasher when I want.
I will not find dirt everywhere. (this may never end though with the boy I have.)
I will go out to eat.
I will sit longer than 1.5 seconds during the day.
I will not find random errands to do just so I can use the car seat as my babysitter.
I will not find crusty stuff on my clothes. :)
I will never wash another sippy cup ever again. until my grandchild comes along.

As hard as it is being a stay at home mom to a toddler, I do love it. I love watching mason explore and figure things out. He's so intense in the ways he sits and pushes buttons and figures out how to work different things in the house. (tonight he pushed the kitchen chair up to the back of his car so he could climb on the chair and then into the back window of his car.) I am guilty of letting him play with things he shouldn't just because I like to see his mind at work. I can't wait to see what he becomes. He keeps me on my toes and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Afterall, my office is far too quiet and boring for me :)
