Yesterday we got to go back to the Doctor and we were so ready. I was ready to hear that heart beat and make sure everything was still as it should be. It was unreal how much our baby has changed since the last time. Our last sonogram the baby was just a little speck, yesterday, as you can see from the picture, we have a real life baby! I have not been feeling pregnant....like at all. I have a few symptoms here and there but nothing really that bad. I have to really remind myself to eat well and drink water because I honestly forget sometimes. After seeing the baby yesterday though, I don't think I'll be forgetting anytime soon! We had a heart beat of 164, which was the same as last time but much lower than Mason's ever was. We are healthy and about 2 inches long. You can see in the picture the little legs crossed, which mason does all the time. It is amazing to even see the new technology our office has compared to last year. Our pictures of Mason were always really good but this new machine is even better. They moved up my due date to May 23rd. My waist band is expanding. It is true that with your second, you show faster! I'm already wanting to wear my maternity jeans. It feels ridiculous. Yesterday made this pregnancy real for me. I was having a hard time connecting for some reason the last few weeks but now I'm all in and ready to go thru this journey again. It's nuts to think in six short months Mason is going to be my big boy. As for Mason, he is trying so hard to walk. He has taken several steps on his own here and there. I'd love for him to walk by his party this weekend, but I'm not sure that will happen. We are going to practice all week :)
