Saying goodbye to Kensington Lane....

I'm finding it's bittersweet to sell your first home. You would think I would be prepared for the emotions since I watch people buy and sell everyday in my job. I wasn't quite expecting what I feel though.

Things I want to remember and LOVE.....

All the crazy cookouts we have had with friends. Corn Hole was brought into our lives :)

Ryon bringing Bradley home. Bradley playing in the front yard as a puppy and getting a plastic cup stuck to his nose. Him digging his first hole under the front yard tree. Watching him stand half way in and half way out of the doggy door...just to look around!

Our neighbors Joel and Lawanna, they will always be dear to our hearts. Also Henry and sweet Evelyn next door.

The swing I bought Ryon for our one year anniversary and all the days of sitting in it together. Since we've had Mason I have loved washing dishes while watching Ryon and Mason swing together. It's such a sweet moment to watch. I never want to forget those images.

All the construction we did and how we made this house ours.

I want to remember just how quickly Ryon painted Mason's room. From the time it took me to run a few errands in town, he was done!

I remember painting our master bedroom from the dark brown, only to paint it bright green, ha. That's when we decided I couldn't pick paint colors anymore.

We love our fireplace. We have spent so many nights in our recliners with the fire going. Mason rolled over for the first time while it snowed outside and we drank coffee by the fire.

I love the fact that when we brought Mason home I had to sleep in our living room for a few weeks....it became my refuge.

Our kitchen was where Mason fell his hardest, hopefully the last time he does something like that!

Ryon fell thru the ceiling in the living room while putting in the exhaust fans in the bathroom. I got home from work with a hole in the ceiling.

Ryon is a great landscaper and when it came time to redo the shrubs, I walked out our front to find a chain around our shrubs, hooked up to his truck as he pulled them out of the ground. I also enjoyed seeing him use a skidsteer to redo our grass out front.

Making the table out of our left over kitchen tiles.
Ryon shooting a beebee gun at the birds in the front for pooping on our sidewalk...
My rose bushes! They will be missed.

I love listening to the birds singing outside Mason's room over the monitor. Bradley being afraid of random corners in our home and always skidding around or backing up.

Wonderful memories were made in this home. It has been an amazing journey with Ryon and more than I ever dreamed of as a wife and a mother. This will always be our first home and where we brought Mason home. We are closing the door to a very special place, but it's exciting to see what our future holds right around the corner.....
