Callahan's First Birthday!

Oh our sweet baby Callahan turned ONE at the end of July. Yes I'm behind on writing about it, so sorry honey. A year of Callahan being in our lives has been such happiness, joy, exhaustion, and fun. Knowing he's our baby forever we have cherished his every move, soaked in his giggles, and hugged him a little longer. Callahan, you are so laid back, so happy, easy going, and independent. You make people smile everywhere we go. You are smart, you eat a ton, and you simply enjoy being with us. You have brought such happiness to our lives and to your brothers. They love you big time and love taking care of you, teaching you new things, and figuring out ways to make you laugh. Your favorite things are crawling out the doggy door and going to play outside. You play alone really well and enjoy just exploring your toys. You love the Jeep. You often talk your brothers into taking you on rides, and it sure is where you are most happy. Your hair blows thru the wind, they turn the music on for you, and you just have the perfect little life. You throwing balls and destroying bookshelves. You like to cuddle and are always on the go. You aren't walking quite yet but you are standing for longer amounts of times these days. You love the remote, as does every kid. Your big blue eyes are to die for. You clap and wink and smile with this big goofy grin showing your two teeth on the bottom. The tops are trying hard to come in right now, and you are letting us know about it! For your First Birthday we had a party at the house just you, mama and daddy and brothers. We woke up and ate cinnamon rolls on the patio and gave you your presents. We picked up Chic fil A which is your favorite and had lunch out on the patio laughing together and listening to music. You devoured a cake I made for you and the boys enjoyed watching and helping you. We had a great little party and enjoyed being with you on your big day. What a year it has been. This year has been full of change for our family from a new baby to starting full time school. We have been so thankful for the joy you have brought to us and the constant smiles and entertainment you provide. You simply enjoy life and can't wait to explore more. I love you honey, you will accomplish great things in life someday!
