The day came this past Monday for Mason to start Pre School at Midland Christian School. We are so excited about the journey of attending MCS and everything it will bring to our family and our boys education. Ryon and I prayed hard, talked hard, and have worked incredibly hard to make MCS a reality for us and it's almost surreal that it's happening now. Mason has Mrs. Martin who was recommended to us and seems to be great so far. The first day of school we all woke early enough, ate a good breakfast and were on our way. We all 5 went to drop him off, and I'm so glad we did. Mason had no hesitation at all. Sutton brought his backpack as well….he sure wanted to stay! The one thing that Mrs. Martin has told me all week is that he makes friends easily, so easily that he has had to move his desk a few times already. I'm not surprised at all, just hope he can get into a good routine soon. We survived our first week of being out the door by 7:45! This is a big accomplishment for us! No major meltdowns, breakfast was actually eaten and lots of coffee drank ;)
I can't wait to see year after year Mason slowly fit into this extra large shirt of daddy's!
