This year was different from our past holiday weekends as we stayed in Midland since baby is coming so soon. It was actually really nice to be here with friends. I feel like we miss things around here when we are gone so much so I enjoyed making memories here. Thursday night we took the boys to Chuck E Cheese for good behavior and used the gift card that Sutton was given for his birthday. The boys always want to go there and finally we said yes after their jar was full of buttons :) Friday night we went to the Rockhounds game. It was the first time for us to take both boys and sit down in the regular seats. They did great and really liked it. Now that Mason plays baseball he's a lot more into learning and watching the game and Sutton really paid attention too. Ryon got us great seats so we were close and behind the foul ball net, which was good because there were a lot that night! There were fireworks at the end of the night that we really enjoyed. I loved watching them at the baseball field. I just felt very "Sandlot" and the boys faces are just so sweet while watching them. I may have teared up a bit, after all, I'm pregnant and can get away with lots of tears :) Saturday, the boys woke up late and ryon and I enjoyed some quiet time on the back porch. Late afternoon we had about 5 families over to cook out and play. It was so fun. I love entertaining and having people enjoy our house and yard. The boys love having friends over and it was a great time. A few kids feel face first into the kiddie pool, we bribed them with popsicles for a picture, the dad's played corn hole, the mom's sat with our feet up and enjoyed good conversation….it was a really fun night. Ryon and I really don't have people over as much as we'd like because we leave town so much so it was great to be here. Ryon is on his way to Dallas right now picking up our new suburban. I'm excited and a little nervous!
