A few weeks ago both boys took swim lessons from sweet Miss Glendy from Houston. She came up for a week to do lessons here and I'm so thankful we signed both boys up. Sutton picked up right where he left off last August and made huge improvements during the week. By day 3 he was having fun, jumping in and swimming across the pool by himself. Mason has been a good swimmer for awhile but had lost a lot of his technique due to the lack of a good swim teacher in his life over the last two years. She met him where he was at and he started back stroking, flipping to breath and swimming great again. Her technique to teaching is a tough one, but with my two stubborn boys she is exactly what they need. I'm thankful for finding her and having the finances to provide this to the boys. I can feel much better about swimming all summer knowing my boys won't drown and that they know what to do to get to the side, turn to breath, relax and get to safety if they need to, most of all have fun swimming together all summer! We love Miss Glendy :)
