A few weeks ago my sweet friends had a luncheon/shower in honor of Baby #3. I had told them no shower but like good friends, they did it anyway! Charity asked me to lunch pretty far in advance and I said yes. Her schedule is pretty crazy so I didn't really think anything of it. But then about a week before lunch April asked me for a few people's contact information and then they told me to meet them at Midland Country Club. SO, I knew they were putting something together for me. I was a bit nervous beforehand because I'm not used to being the center of attention, I didn't really know what to expect, and I just felt very surprised that my sweet friends wanted to take time out of their crazy lives to celebrate my little growing family! It was a lot of emotions which did bring tears while I was there. The lunch was wonderful, the club was beautiful obviously, and my friends were so sweet and generous to me. They stocked me up on diapers, a formula mixer, bottles, onsies, just a a little of everything that I can really use for baby. I am so thankful God put me in Midland Texas for this phase of life. I love staying at home and it truly has given me the opportunity to meet and surround myself and my family with the most amazingly generous friends a woman could ask for. It meant so much to me to be loved on and cared for.
