Update: After a great coffee date with a friend Saturday morning, some shopping at home goods, a great sunday morning at church, super bowl party with friends and a breakfast with a friend yesterday I'm doing much better :) I need people. I need my friends. I'm so very thankful for time with them.
Sutton is hilarious right now. He talks as well as Mason and just has the sweetest little voice ever. He's always talking about shooting things; pigs, monsters, big bucks, dinos. He's always sneaking around the house with some sort of a gun or building a gun out of legos. He puts his "guns" down in his underwear. A lot of times his weapons are swords too. He's our ninja loving little boy. He informs me every day that he loves Daddy the most. Right now he's explaining that there is corn inside his stick that shoots out and hits the wall. ??! I have really no clue where this stuff comes from.
Yesterday while eating breakfast with Charity I missed a call. I checked it when we were finished and it was Mason's school. He got pushed by a kid in class and hit the brick corner of a wall. He had a pretty nice size cut on his forehead. It was the lunch hour at our Dr. so I took him to the urgent care. He had to glue it together. He cried and screamed the entire time she was pushing and working on it. I was so sad for him. I've never seen him in that situation and I really didn't like it! He's ok now and just complains about his head hurting a little. I'm glad it wasn't worse. The mom felt so bad about it. I assured her that it was ok and that I'm sure Mason would be on the other end of it soon enough. Kids are kids. I think Mason just hit the wrong corner of the classroom!! The kids parents were called and he was sent him though. Yikes!
Baby is growing! I'm 14 weeks today. I'm starting to wear my belly band with my regular jeans and it does feel so much better. My belly is starting to get harder and when I'm laying down you can really feel where baby is. In another 4 weeks we'll get another sonogram and I can't wait to see baby's growth. I bought a baby book this weekend that I want to start working on and then I need to update Sutton's a little too. I have several projects I want to complete before baby comes.
