The weekend before Christmas we headed to my parents ranch for Christmas with my family. We got there Friday afternoon and the kids were ready to play. Susan brought her boyfriend John and it was wonderful to spend some time with him since we hadn't been around him much. Sutton took a liking to him and didn't go far from him for the weekend. My dad showed the kids the new pens he had built that night and they looked for "mystery" with their flashlights. Saturday morning we woke up and had Christmas. My parents got the boys a lego table which I had really been wanting for Mason. He's very into legos and building and needed a place to keep it all together. He really hasn't moved far from the table since getting it! I got a few new kitchen pans from Sur La Table that I had been wanting and Ryon got new binoculars and a game camera for the ranch. He was thrilled. That afternoon we went to the other ranch house and had Christmas with Popo and the rest of the family. My boys love to play with their older cousins and it is so wonderful to have babysitters there! Popo is doing well. He looks good but obviously older and a little slower. It was good to spend some time with him. That night we did s'mores on the fire and went to bed early. It was a good weekend with family.
