Catching Up

We all have different things we enjoy doing to feel like we had some "me" time and are caught up to conquer another day. Mine is updating photos, blogs, albums. I'm spending this morning doing just that. The last month has been really fun with Mason's birthday, Jenna's wedding, Thanksgiving, and now everything that we've experienced holiday related. It's been a fun few weeks for sure. Mason and Sutton had their program at CBS. Mason did great but Sutton saw us and just ran to sit with me and TK. We spent a weekend at the ranch and Ryon cleared tons of trees out right behind the house. I came down with the cold that Ryon had had so I pretty much spent that whole day on the couch. I was glad to be at the ranch though without all my "to do's" around looking at me. Santa came to church on Sunday. It was a fun morning in the foyer eating donuts and visiting with everyone. Mason didn't want to talk to Santa or take his picture, he was pretty mean to him actually! Sutton kind of told him what he wanted. I think the environment was just too much  to handle, too many people standing around and watching….oh well! Hard to believe this is a our second christmas at St. Luke's. I definitely feel more a part of the church this year and really enjoy walking thru the doors and seeing everyone there. We got our Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving. The boys really enjoyed running around and finding one they liked. It's really pretty except it has already gotten so dry and not taking on much water! Kind of frustrating, but oh well. Mason had his program at Hillander on Tuesday and did great. Me, Ryon and TK were all able to go. He didn't do any of the hand motions but he did sing a little and obviously looked cute while up there :) He was so proud to show TK his classroom afterwards too. He really does love Hillander and it makes the decision on possibly switching schools even harder. Currently the boys are driving this mama crazy. It's been a bit too chilly to be outside and they are going stir crazy inside. They are fighting, they are hitting, they won't play with anything….it's been a long few days around here. Today is the last day of school for awhile though so I need to start praying for myself :)
