This year we had a Valentine's Week, which was fun! Monday was such a long day with Sutton spending the morning in the ER that I was worn out and Ryon came home with a bottle of wine to celebrate his biggest sale yet, 11 machines to one customer!! I am beyond proud of him. It is our tradition to get Outback to go for Valentine's day so Monday we decided to just do our meal early :) It was wonderful to not cook and to celebrate and just enjoy our evening from the crazy day. Wednesday Ryon came home early from work with a beautiful vase of red roses. The boys had school parties on Thursday and we also got a big delivery of gifts from Sandy and Bill and TK and Rick stopped by that night as well. This morning was actual Valentine's and Ryon gave me a sweet card and left me for the ranch to burn piles. :) I've never been all that crazy about Valentine's Day but with the boys getting older and having parties it does make it a bit more exciting. I'm lucky that I have a husband that takes me out regularly and treats me great all year and doesn't really need a holiday to make me feel special :) Last week when Ryon was gone for work the boys painted some Valentine Heart canvases for our mantle and I did a little 'Be Mine' banner I printed off online. I started putting their random art work from school up on the mantle and by tonight we really look decorated for Valentine's Day! The boys made some super sweet cards at school and church for us that I will just always cherish.
We went to the Doctor for Sutton this morning. His arm is completely fine. It was the nurses elbow that was suspected. The Doctor literally just twisted his arm back into place. He also told me that the stint that they had put on Sutton at the ER was the wrong one….seriously? We were at the ER!!! Shouldn't they kinda know what they are doing there? Makes me very nervous and hesitant about ever going there again. So he is fine, after a long week in a sling, being kept home from school, not bathing….what an annoyance more than anything :)
This afternoon me and the boys got to do what we love best…dig! The sunshine was so nice. I am loving getting back into our 'groove' of being outside, digging, playing, learning with chalk, trying to climb fences and trees…all of the above. I love it!
