Surgeries Scheduled

Well we finally have Sutton's surgeries scheduled. Poor little guy is going to have a rough week ahead of him. We still have been fighting ear infections so we get to get tubes on Friday! I say "get" because I'm excited about them! They worked wonders for Mason and I'm ready for Sutton to feel good and maybe even be more vocal. I swear he was born with an ear infection so I'm looking forward to seeing what he's like when he is actually normal. Dr. Patel will do the surgery here Friday morning. Then Sunday afternoon we are leaving Mason with TK and headed to Lubbock with Sutton for his testicle surgery early Monday morning. Should be an easy day procedure, but still hard to see your babies go thru things like this. Last time we were in Lubbock it was for Mason's hernia, which was a ton scarier, so I'm hoping this is more calm....So hopefully we will get Sutton all healthy and on track for a great new year. Sutton now weighs over 17 pounds and is getting heavier by the second. He instantly flips to his stomach when changing...i forgot about this stage! Ugh it's so hard to change an upside down moving child. He is chewing on everything but no teeth yet. He's crawling everywhere but does sometimes forget he can move :) He is getting better at sitting up. He just wants to be on his belly so he can move! He'll be just as busy as his brother I think.
Mason is talking up a storm and never ceases to make us laugh! When I pick him up from school he says, "Mommy, goin home, get milk, watch shrek." , "ride tractor in the morning mommy!" (we say this all day long though....) Mason are you hungry? "YES mommy, eat sausages and cheese!" ( I finally found some 'healthier' choices for sausages today) Mason calls Sutton, "Baby susson." It's super sweet. Mason beats to his own drum, his own timing, when he wants to do it, his way. He's very much a 2 year old and I really have to pick my battles with him. When he gets mad he throws things, so now I've started taking away whatever he throws...I'm hoping this will click in that little mind of his...it's so hard to tell! Time out isn't really working and I can't just spank him all day....and it's hard because he has moments of being super sweet, calm, plays so well by himself, and then at other times I feel like I could kill him :)
