A fun family Weekend!

When you are blessed with such a big family and wonderful friends, your calendar is full all the time! I love it, but I cherish the days when Ryon and I can look at each other and say, "well, what do you want to do today?" This was one of those weekends with my boys that I will never forget. It started out by us taking the boys to go see Santa at La Bebe. I already wrote in my previous post about how Mason hated him :) Saturday morning we hung out at the house, did some chores, and enjoyed being outside. Then we got a wild hair to head to the Ranch. So we woke the boys up from naps and headed to beautiful Mason Texas for a few days of just the four of us. We are usually there with friends and family so it was nice to be just the four of us. We got there about 8 and immediately stuck in a frozen pizza and sat outside to look at the full moon and the millions of stars. Mason loves both so he was in heaven. We forgot Sutton's bed so we decided that I'd sleep with him surrounded by pillows, since I don't sleep a lot anyway while at the Ranch and Ryon would stay with Mason in the other bed. But that just wasn't close enough so we pushed the two full beds together so we could all feel close. It was just a big slumber party and was fun. Mason decided to not sleep all night and was on and off awake wanting to sleep with me and then Ryon so that's always a good time at 5 am!We woke and were in the Ranger by 9:30 ready to go. We strapped Sutton in the car seat in the back and were on our way. No destination or schedule, it felt great. We drove the property for a long time and ended up throwing rocks and sitting on the side of the tank for a long time. We headed back to our cabin for a quick grab of a bottle and some food for Sutton and were on our way to Doss Country Store for lunch. They just renovated it and it is awesome. Such great food and a nice clean atmosphere. The boys did great. We drove back to the Ranch and hung out a bit. But then Mason got sick so we headed home. It was an interesting ride home with a sick Mason and low tire :) God was with us though and we arrived home safe and sound! It was such a great weekend filled with wonderful pictures and just good family time. I'm so thankful we got to go.
