This Thanksgiving has been simple and wonderful! We stayed here and went to Rick and Teri's and just hung out and are staying here for the weekend so we are fully enjoying the down time. Down time is not something that happens around here often so I'm loving the no schedule/ryon off work/decorating/hang out time. Thanksgiving was wonderful as always. The boys played casual golf after we ate, the boys napped and played and it was just a relaxing day. Didn't have a ton of food left over, so it was just a nice simple day. We have put up our tree and I'm slowly moving stuff around the house trying to find places for everything. I can't believe the holidays here. How the heck am I supposed to keep Mason from destroying the tree? Last year was pretty hard, but now this year he throws everything...no cool. This could get interesting.
Sutton and I headed to Lubbock Wednesday for a Doctor's appointment. He's going to have to have surgery on his little testicle to bring it back into place. Poor thing...but better now then never! We spent the day in Lubbock together shopping, eating lunch and making friends in the stores. It's easy to make friends with Sutton. He's seriously so stinkin cute and just laughs and smiles making everyone want to be his friend :) We enjoyed our day together. Mason enjoyed the day playing golf with Ryon, so it was a great start to the holiday weekend. This year I'm just really thankful for Doctors. My boys have been sick but the whole year we have just really relied on the intelligence of Doctors. From Mason's hernia surgery, my pregnancy, breathing treatments, to Sutton's upcoming surgeries...I'm just thankful that God made Doctors. Tis the season :)
