Mason is 11 months old! (yesterday) I was so busy yesterday that I didn't have time to write about him. We have been busy lately. This past weekend we went to the Tech Game. We weren't supposed to take him but Meredith got sick so we threw him in the car too, and it really was a great day! He did great all day. Ryon got him to fall asleep for his 4
oclock nap in his arms and he slept for thirty minutes and was pretty good all game. It was a night game so it was a long day for us! But I am always so impressed at well adapted he is. As long as there is something for him to look at, someone to play with, or something to eat, he's a happy boy. The next day we took him to the pumpkin patch. We had a hard time getting him to smile for awhile and then we started laughing, so that got him giggling, so we were able to get a few good shots. Last night while I was at Junior League, Mason learned how to get out the
doggie door!!!! He's been trying for weeks, but hadn't quite figured it out until last night. Hilarious. Now I just really have to be careful when he's playing in the kitchen with me.
Ok so at 11 months: He still drinks about 20-24 ounces a day, but only one being a bottle before bedtime. He's standing for longer periods of time everyday. He's letting go of things. He can stand from sitting. He's into everything in the house. He's allowed to play in the
tupperware cabinet in the kitchen and my cosmetic bag cabinet in the bathroom. He loves the shutters, mirrors, running from one room to the next while you try to catch him. He still fights taking a nap. He talks, he cries, he jumps, until he finally sleeps. When he's here at the house with me two days a week, he sleeps a good morning nap and then around 4:00 he'll take another short nap. When he's at
MDO, he'll sleep for an hour around noon and then I'll try to get him to sleep again around 4 but sometimes it's unsuccessful. He still eats pretty much anything I give him. It's just figuring out what to give him that I have a problem with
some days. We are still trying to get his dinner time to be at our dinner time. Now that I'm pregnant, I want to eat at 5:00 with him, but for some reason Ryon doesn't like that :) As far as pregnancy goes...!...our friends know and it's really fun to see everyone and talk about it now. I feel pretty good. I'm nauseated all day and hungry all day. Mason and I took a personal day today. Which just means we skipped our bible study this morning so we could play together. He is getting tubes in on Friday and I'm very ready. No more ear infections and no more huge doctor's bills because I have to take him in so much.
