Whirlwind world...

I feel like we live in a middle of a wind tornado. Not because we live in West Texas, but because life is really that crazy right now. Yet so very fun. This past weekend we went to the ranch for the first vestal-burch-walsh-reeves-bernardo trip. We had 10 adults, 2 babies and 4 dogs. We had our hands full. It was crazy, it was loud, it was exhausting, but it was so fun. Mason did pretty well. I think he's growing though because it seems like all he wants to do is eat, play for a minute and go right back to sleep. He's been taking really long naps lately. So this weekend at the ranch I felt like I was constantly feeding him and putting him down. We went to Fredericksburg Saturday and walked the street and he did really well riding around in the stroller. When we went to the river he did good for awhile but got really tired and so he fell asleep for a bit under some shade. Our trip was quite hectic with all the people and trying to take care of him as well. Not as relaxing as I would have liked it to be, but all in all, a success. We are getting settled into Rick and Teri's. We finally got the guest room to ourselves so no more sharing with Mason. It's a whole new world having a place to retreat to. I'm so thankful. Obviously we just want to move into our new house asap, but living out of a suit case for 6 weeks will make us love our house even more when we get to move in. I've been staying really busy with work and i'm so happy with it. I've had a couple of closings each month and then yesterday got a huge listing from a friend of mine. It's going to list at $830,000, so obviously I'm thrilled about the opportunity and the trust her and her husband have in me to work hard for them. It means a lot when friends can see that I'm good at my job and trust me to work for them. Now I just have to sell it.... :) Ryon's doing really with work. Staying busy. He got a new truck for work, so he's so pumped about that. He has been needing something safer to carry around his machines with so I'm glad CAT finally got him something. As for Mason man....he started going to church mother's day out on Wednesdays for the summer. He does really well and is always so tired when he comes home. He doesn't sleep much while there. He is starting to really fuss when I leave the room though...not at day care, just around the house. He's becoming quite needy. It's just started in the last few weeks so I hope it passes soon. I'm working on taking the bottle away at certain times of the day. He does great some days and then others, he screams bloody murder at you until you give him a bottle. All I can do is try though...ha. He eats everything and a lot of it. I usually feed him two stage 2 tubs at lunch and dinner plus about 4 ounces of milk. For snack I'm doing juice and puffs. Then for breakfast he has cereal and milk and before bed a 7 ouncer. He's doing really well with puffs, but he can't quite get them into his mouth by himself yet. I'm still working on figuring out what he needs when. I think Ryon just stays confused because I change everything up all the time. Teri is shocked at how much food he goes thru, I think she feels every other day I'm going to the store to stalk up on more....which is very true :) He's up all fours all the time now, but is still faster if he drops to the army crawl so that's what he's happy with. He stays in the same spot for about 1 second, so I can't turn my back obviously. He goes straight for cords, outlets, shoes, anything shiny, and all knobs that he can see at his level. He is so inquisitive. He finds every detail and examines it. Maybe he'll wake up soon so we can go run errands.....
