8 Months Old

Yesterday Mason turned 8 months old. I can not even believe it. I feel like the last few months have flown by. At 8 months he is a busy, silly, jumping monkey. All he wants to do is go, jump, laugh, stand, or talk to you. He started crawling on all fours this past week and also started really pulling up on everything. The first time was in his crib and I walked in to check on him and he was standing there looking at me! Ever since that moment he pulls up on anything and loves when you hold your own hands steady so he can stand againest them. This past weekend was Vestal Fest. It was the first time for all four of the boys to be together. It was fun to see them interact with each other. Saturday night Mason had a crying fit all.night.long! I seriously saw the sun come up. It was ridiculous. I took him to the Dr. this morning and found out he has two ear infections. BUT other milestones right now... he weighs 17.6 as of today. He stands, sits, crawls, does whatever he wants. His favorite thing right now is probably Ryon's monkey noises. He laughs so hard I usually cry watching him. He still doesn't like when I leave the room. He is a pro with crunchies, puffs, and any other snack I give to him. He is also getting great at taking milk out of a sippy cup. He goes for anything electronic and is starting to get told NO a lot, which he does not like. He still is not babbling at all, but the Dr. says that's okay because he responds to us well. He talks in other ways to us. He is starting to get pretty banged up on a daily basis now that he is so mobile. He falls a lot. So therefore we hit our head, scrape our faces, and scratch ourselves up a lot. He never cries too hard for too long though and it never stops him from doing it again. His favorite toys right now are his car from brown grandmother, his blocks and his books. I absolutely love the 8 month photo shoot we had out on the golf course. He did so great standing up and smiling for us.
