I haven't given any updates in awhile and by all means that doesn't mean life hasn't been happening! The most recent was our weekend to Dallas for Don's birthday weekend. Amy and Don just bought the greatest house in Fort Worth and had a big celebration for Don's 31st Birthday. We got there Friday and the boys gave us the job of going to the store to get last minute stuff for the party and dinner to cook that night. But being the kind of friend Amy is and me being without MASON! , we had to stop, sit on a patio and drink a skooner or Blue Moon to catch up :) Needless to say we didn't eat dinner until about 10 that night and the boys were hungry when we finally returned home. Saturday was an all day party and it was fun catching up with our friends again. Mason was so great. He loves to be outside so he just chilled on his mat. He slepts when he needed a nap and ate when he was hungry! I couldn't have been more happy with his behavior.
I started giving him Oatmeal last week so and he likes is so much better than the cereal. He is getting pretty good at it! and I'm also learning more on my end as well, so that is making it easier. He has started moving more at night so we have him dressed in long sleeves and then his sleep sack, nothing else. And he is sleeping thru the night, and when he wakes, I don't go in there anymore and he fusses himself back to sleep, again, we are in training :) He is still getting stuck on his stomach though. But I have a feeling we are closer to the full out roll, which I'm not sure which one will be better.
On another opposite note, I had a great week at work. I had some buyers that really wanted a certain house, but we had to sell there's first, and we only had ONE DAY to do it, because there were other offers on the home they wanted. And I DID IT! It sold in one day, so if all goes well, I will close on my two biggest deals on May 13. My first paycheck in quite a while, but it feels so good to be getting back into the game again. Without Teri I wouldn't be able to work at all I don't think though because Ryon has found himself super busy too!
Our rose bushes have also been blooming, they are gorgeous, we are so proud of them. We are going to the Baseball game tonight with all of our friends, I'm really anxious to take Mason and see how he likes it. I think he's going to love it since he likes being outside so well. But we will just have to see.
Rose Buses, even bigger and prettier now....
Mason and Daddy enjoying Don's Birthday...look at that smile!
